仕事場の目の前にヒジョーーに危なっかしい巣作りをしているのは、ヒヨドリのような気がします。はっぱにかくれてみにくかったり、警戒心があるのでなかなかその全身を見せてくれないのですが、ネットで見る限りコレにちがいない！昨晩こちらはけっこうな豪雨で、もう今ごろ巣の中は水浸しだ。とってものんびり屋のご夫婦らしく、巣作りもモタモタモタモタ．．．時間かかりすぎなんじゃない？見ているこっちが気が気じゃない。こんな低い木に（約３m）マイペースでマイホームをつくるなんて、きっと新米夫婦に違いない。なんか結局巣作りに時間をかけすぎて、今年は子どもが育てられなかった、とか余裕でありそうです。「ひよどりのような夫婦」では味気ないので、この夫婦をヒヨ子さんと、ヒヨきっつぁんと呼ぶことにしました。早く卵を産んで、ヒヨ家の成長をみたいです。がんばれ、ヒヨ家！
I think the couple of birds making a nest before my work space is bulbul. I think they aren't common in the UK, but I hear them quite often in Japan. It has distinctive voice I like. I'm not 100% sure they are actually bulbuls though as long as I can check on the internet, they must be. It's been pretty stormy around my area for the past week. I hope the nest will be ok. The couple has been bringing in small twigs and straw into the nest for weeks now! I'm getting very impatient to see the chicks. The tree they are nesting is pretty low (about 10 feet). Maybe I should make some protection against snakes and ravens. Anyway bulbuls, please finish up the nest now! You're taking too long! :-)
