私はいつもペン先を使って手描きで線画を描いているのですが、最近イギリスで買ったペン先がつぶれそうです。日本にもたくさんコミック用のペン先が売られているようなのですが、使ったことがないし、しかも一刻も早く線画を描ききってしまう必要なあるので、いろいろ試している時間もなし。このLEONARDT 300というペン先、日本では取り扱っていないそう…。ケッタイなもんを愛用してしまったもんです。
悩みに悩んだ末、ロンドンの父と慕うマイクさんにお願いすることにしました。それでどんなペン先かを説明するため、写真とこんなスケッチを送信。
見つかるかな〜。最後に買ったのは２年くらい前やからな〜。生産中止とかになってたらいややな〜。ごめんね〜マイクさん！
I've used this specific pen nib for drawing for my entire career. I bought some of this in London, but after 2 years the tips are getting dull.
Apparently there are many kinds of pen nibs in Japan for comic artists though I have no time to try them out to see if they are right for my style. How stupid that I didn't get some more for stock when I went to London a year ago!
There was no other way left, so I asked my friend in London to get some for me. I hope the maker still does this nib! And I hope it won't be too much trouble for him to find it! Fingers crossed!
