昨日は、メトロポリタンの近く、86TH STREETにあるNEUE GALERIEへ♪
ここは、ドイツ・オーストリアの作品が
中心の美術館です。こぢんまりとしていて、
メットで疲れた足にはありがたかった〜。
エゴン・シーレや、クリムトの名画。
すばらしすぎるデザインの食器類など。
おすすめです。
I went to NEUE GALERIE yesterday.
It's on 86th street / 5th ave, near MET.
They have amazing examples of German and Austrian art,
like Egon Schiele and Gustav Klimt.
I liked the size of the gallery as well.
It's a cosy size to spend, 2 hours max.
今回の目的は、オットー・ディックス。ドイツ人アーティスト。
ちょっと展示方法が観づらい感じもしたんですが、
作品自体はすばらしかったです。
I went to the gallery to see the exhibition of Otto Dix.
I loved the portraits he did. Though it was a little shame that
the way they exhibited work and comment was difficult to see.
There were about 50 etchings in a room, and only one big panel
had explanations what each work depicts.
昨日のランチは、ポピーの種がちりばめられたベーグルにプレーンのクリームチーズ。
この前のは、ブルックリン・ベーグル・ストア
（だったかな？）から購入。
今回は、ベーグル・スミスから。
ベーグル・スミスのベーグルの方が、
少し薄めで食べやすい。
まだまだベーグル飽きませんな。
I had plain cream cheese spread on poppy seed bagel for lunch.
Mmm...I love bagels.
I bought the last bagel from Brooklyn Bagel Store ( I think).
This one was from Bagel Smith.
I prefer Bagel Smith's, because it's thinner so easier to bite into.
I have to try other bagel shops too! yum!
